Not a particularly interesting ride; this was just after-work errands on the old Raleigh. But some cool photos, I thought, so here is a post.
The main errand was picking up medication for Leia from the specialist vet in Olympic Village, but just so happens that Sollys bagelry is only a block away, and not too far from there is Beer Island – where I enjoyed, you guessed it, a beer.
While enjoying said beer, I watched across the water where a parade of kayakers, dragon boaters, and water taxis made their way. I also noted some relatively new artwork on the steps across the channel, as well as the autumn colours on the nearby trees:
As dusk approaches, the skies always fill with crows headed to roost in Burnaby. Today’s dramatic clouds added to the effect nicely:
